Artist: Constant Leon Duval, (1877-1956) From 1910 until the nationalization of the French railways in 1937, Constant Duval created many posters highlighting the various networks. He deploys his landscaping talent to illustrate the natural sites accessible through the railway. One of the most sought-after illustrators of this period, these posters are most often printed in Paris, notably Champenois until 1920, and other houses like Joseph Charles, Lucien Serre & Cie afterward.
Many of his posters have been reissued since the 1990s and the originals enjoy a high rating among collectors.

Description: The Royal Château de Blois is located in the city center of Blois at the Loir-et-Cher département in the Loire Valley, in France. The residence of several French kings, it is also the place where Joan of Arc went in 1429 to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before departing with her army to drive the English from Orléans. Beautiful and colorful poster in near mint conditon.
