Description: Very good condition Dieppe Tourist poster featuring an image of the casino on the beach, the headlands visible in the background.. The poster claims it's the beach the closest to Paris, featuring tennis and golf. This casino would be the site of bitter fighting in WWII during the ill-fated Canadian raid, and would afterwards be demolished by the Germans to improve their fields of fire. A great piece of history. Paper is age toned. Publicite Wall 14 Rue Lafayette Paris in bottom margin.
